People judge a business through its windows before they judge it by its sign. Clean glass shows the inside of a shop, a clinic or an office clearly; spotted, hazy or smudged glass makes the whole place look less cared for, even if the inside is spotless.
Commercial glass gets dirty in specific ways. Entry doors collect handprints and push-bar marks. Street-facing panes catch exhaust film and, in a coastal city like Bridgeport, a layer of salt haze. The lowest panels on the street side also take winter road spray, which leaves streaks that rain does not wash off.
The number and size of panes, whether you want interior, exterior or both, how dirty the glass is, whether stickers or paint have to be removed, and how often you want the service. Easy-to-reach storefront glass costs less per pane than glass that is behind planters or a narrow walkway, and a regular schedule keeps each visit quicker than a one-time catch-up.
We are upfront that this is ground-floor and first-floor work. Within that, the same crew that cleans your floors can keep your entry glass sharp between visits. Gustavo Acevedo runs the company, and you call him directly at (203) 290-7909.
Our window cleaning is based in Bridgeport; storefront owners in Bridgeport and Fairfield can ask about their windows.
Usually yes. Paper stickers and tape residue come off with the right scraper and solvent, and we do it carefully so the glass is not scratched. Window film, tint and etched or painted graphics are different, and you should tell us about them before the job.
Light spotting often can be. Heavy mineral deposits and etching that has already damaged the glass cannot always be fully removed, and we tell you what to expect before we start so the result is not a surprise.
We clean the ground floor and the first floor of the building. Windows above that, even on the same building, are outside what we do, so the quote covers only the lower glass.
Yes. Entry doors are usually the dirtiest glass in a business because of handprints, and they are often cleaned more frequently than the windows beside them. We can set a different schedule for doors if you want.
Not usually for exterior glass. For interior glass, we agree on access, such as whether staff are on site or a key is provided, when we write the scope.
